Le Programme de Coaching Alex Garant sera décerné à 2 artistes démontrant un potentiel important et une sérieuse motivation pour réussir. Les artistes émergents de tous âges et de tous parcours professionnels, qu'ils soient étudiants, diplômés, à temps plein ou à temps partiel, et de n'importe quel pays, sont invités à postuler.
L'AGCP sera décernée comme suit : 2 artistes choisis recevront un mentorat direct d'Alex Garant pour une période de 6 mois à compter du 1er mars 2021. Le coaching sera structuré sous forme d'appel vidéo virtuel d'une heure avec Alex Garant toutes les deux semaines. pour une durée de 6 mois. La session couvrira vos objectifs créatifs, vos conseils marketing, votre mentorat de carrière, etc.

ABOUT ALEX GARANT
My name is Alex Garant and I am a visual artist. Using traditional mediums such as oil paint, I slowly became one the leaders of analogue Glitch Art by using patterns, duplication of elements, symmetry and image superposition as key elements of my imagery. I am currently represented by galleries in New York, Los Angeles and Australia, and my works have been shown in several museums including the Museum of Art and History (MOAH) in California. I have also been featured in several contemporary publications such as Hi-fructose, Juxtapoz, Beautiful Bizarre etc. What a lot of people do not know is that after Art School, I actually spent over 15 years of my life working in corporate advertising sales and marketing while simultaneously growing my art career. After suffering a heart attack at the age of 30 and completely changed my perspective on life, I decided to focus on my true love: art.
WHY WAS THE PROGRAM CREATED
The world is vast, however, 2020 has shown us we can be connected to the world and yet feel isolated all at once. From communicating with aspiring artists via Social Media, I realize a lot of creative people, do not know where to start when it comes to style, networking or even finding motivation. I want to connect with more people one-on-one to share some of my knowledge, as more and more people turn to the internet as a place to promote art, using simple tools properly can help you achieve your own artistic goals. From painting techniques, materials to use, how to talk with galleries, establishing your voice, building an artist website, basic branding, all the way to complex marketing strategies for artists, I would love to pass the love forward and create a community of like-minded people.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM YOUR COACHING SESSIONS
First, it is important to say this program is free and all about genuinely creating a network for young artists. The A.G.C.P will be awarded as follow: 2 chosen artists will receive direct mentorship from Alex Garant for a period of 6 months starting on March 1st, 2021. The coaching will be structured as a 1-hour virtual video call ( via Zoom or other video chatting program) with Alex Garant every other week for a period of 6 months. The customized coaching program will focus on any areas that interest you the most.
Do you want to improve your painting technique? Build your online presence? Overcome inspiration challenges?
After each session, you will receive personalized "homework" or recommendations and follow up on to maximize measurable results.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Anyone, Anywhere. The winners will be chosen based on their potential, motivation and seriousness to succeed.
The sessions are offered in English or French.
