Canvas Prep

Clear Gesso

I "lock" my sketch with a thin layer of clear gesso before painting.

White Gesso

I prime my canvases with white gesso mixed with some fluid acrylic.

Fluid Acrylic

I tint my canvas with Burnt sienna, 8oz bottle mixed with white gesso.

Silicone Wedge

The ONLY tool I use to prep my canvas. I use Shape #6 ( light grey)

Titanium White

Oil Paint by Gamblin.

I buy the 150ml tube.

Cadmium Red

Oil Paint by Gamblin.

Yellow Ochre

Oil Paint by Gamblin.

Burnt Sienna

Zen Brushes

Most affordable brushes ever. All I use!

Brush Holder

"For Kids" but really for everyone :)

Linseed Oil

My favorite medium.

Varnish

Gamvar Gloss is perfect to apply as soon as the paint is dry to the touch.

Palette

I love 9x12 grey paper palettes.

Projector

This opaque projector is perfect as your sketchbook fits directly on the window.

Brush Soap

You need this.
